Mrs. Buchanan has been married to her husband Gene Buchanan for 32 years and is the mother two sons.  She has over 20 years of dedicated service as Youth Pastor, Prayer Intercessor and Outreach Pastor at The Church 320 in Jacksonville, Florida.

Mrs. Buchanan has over 28 years of experience in education and early learning.  She is also the Director of Educational Programs for West Jacksonville Restoration Center Inc. and has served in this capacity for the last 15 years.  As Director of Educational Programs, she continues to work to positively impact the lives of the youth of Jacksonville through her collaborative work and partnerships for the development and operation of early learning childcare centers, tutoring programs, Summer camps, community health fair and back-to-school events.

Mrs. Buchanan is dedicated to working with parents and families as partners in education to ensure the future success of our youth.  She is honored to assist our youth in their educational journey to success at the Academy of Excellence.
